A Week After The Storm

It's been a week since the storm hit the country. So many lives that were calimed, lost, perished.

What are we doing to help those victims?
of course there are NGO's who volunteered to help.
there are also major charitable institutions who helps the
victims through relief operations effort.

I happen to pass by near our school canteen and saw a sign
asking for donations for the victims of the calamity.

At first I found it awkward. But, through deep analysis of the
situation, i stopped thinking it as an awkward matter.

and thought of:
" what if this happened to me?"
"will anyone do just like what I've did?"


In reality, it might happen.
but if yo start to make a difference in your life,
why not

to

exert/extend

the help to the victims of the calamaity..=)

Gone With The Summer Wind

First things first, this is a poem written by yours truly, ME. I am planning to use this poem for my Art Appreciation class. Though this poem needed to be finished and furnished more, I already formulated the first three stanzas and I will update this blog after I've finalized my work. Constructive criticism will be very much welcomed.

Summer's wind is finally over
Habagat is here to conquer
She was the voice of my summer
It is as sweet as her voice

Now, summer's over, is it really gone?
Hearing your melodious voice is over
Fast paced days changed my life
Your voice is all I need to relieve the tension

I know we need to bid thee goodbye
Gently, my mind sinks into confusion
Is it going to be temporary or is it really over?
I can't stand but to speculate my timid mind.

The Weekend

It had been a hard day for me last week. This weekend was terrific and cool. Terrific in terms of 'I have a rest from first week of classes.' and Cool because it had been raining for the past 3-4 days now.

I wanted to hang-out somewhere but I was short of money because on the first week, it was my 'Adjustment week' meaning, I am adjusting my allowance during the first week of classes. I see to it I budget it after the first week of classes and adjust my spending powers.

So, I have my entire weekend spent here at home unless someone will drag/pick me off and go somewhere interesting. Eventually I don't see any signs of that yet. For the meantime, I'll be active on Lunatic forum, my Multiply and Friendster. Also, I will try to do a movie marathon just in-case no one asks me out. Not a date that is. But to hang-out.

I'm done doing my job. It is time for me to scram out and have my rightful rest.

First Day Rant

since I just had the time to update my blog, here's how my first day in school

7AM First Subject
Society and Culture with Family Planning.
Our proffessor was Hilarious and INSANELY good teacher.
I think I'm going to like him as my professor for this subject.

8:30 AM FREE TIME
and HELL! we counted all the FROSHIES in UNIFORM (which by the way we are on a wash-day attire on Wednesdays) til hunger was felt, we(me and my friends) grabbed a bite outside the campus and went back in.


9AM-12noon WEEEE WOOOOOOOO...
Nothing beats the line in Adding and Dropping of subjects! It was HELL!
Imagine being in the line for almost an hour and you still DO NOT SEE the HALFWAY line.
It SUCKED BIG TIME!!!
Anyways, Good Thing I saw my friend(former blockmate) Kristian.
I SMSed him and asked if I could break in his LINE. Coz it'll be University Break on 12 noon and offices in the ADMIN bldg. will be closed until 1 PM.

SOOOOO,
I made my transactions on time and paved my way to an EARLY BREAK/DISSMISSAL.
my buddy for the day Rai and me went in the mall to chill coz' it was exxageratedly HOT in school.

1:45PM Home AT LAST!
Just bumming around the PC and doing something to keep me busy.

3PM I finished this Blog

Girl-Boy Best Friend Relationship

I have a girl bestfriend. Some find it unusual because they think a guy and a girl cannot be bestf of friends. But I say to them: 'They are wrong about their perceptions'
My best friend and I are best friends for four years now and it have been a good friendship for the both of us.

Though we had some mis-understandings but we went through it. And went back on track with our friendship.

So what's the fuss all about?
I miss my bestfriend.

I want to see her and spend some time sharing what's happening to me and do a little bonding with her.
